At its evening meeting on Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft law No. 3700 "On amendments to Law of Ukraine "On election of people's deputies of Ukraine" (as to exclusion of deputy candidates from election list in multi-mandate constituency)
Before the voting, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said the leaders of five parliamentary factions had addressed him requesting to put the said draft law to vote.
"I have received the letter signed by the leaders of five factions — Oleh Liashko, Oleh Bereziuk, Maksym Burbak, Serhii Sobolev, and Yurii Lutsenko — with a request to get back to consideration of the draft law No. 3700. This is the principled position of the heads of those five factions, thus, on demand of the five factions I will put this proposal to vote," the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said.
